In 1977 Thomas Eickhoff started his career as a Dental Technician in Detroit, MI. In the summer of 1982 he packed up his Datsun B310 and moved to sunny Palm Beach. He continued his career as a Dental Technician and by 1996 founded Tropical Dental Studio Inc.
He’s a Graduate of Mason School of Dental Technology and a Certified Ivoclar Empress Technician.
Over 40 years and 75,000 teeth later he is still serving up smiles around South Florida.
In Tom’s free time he enjoys golfing, watching movies and spending time with his family. He’s a proud father, grandfather, brother, uncle, father-in-law and friend.
In 2008, Drew Eickhoff (Tom’s son), joined Tropical Dental Studio.
Drew and Tom are the epitome of “Like Father, Like Son”. Aside from his father’s sense of humor and work ethic, Drew also inherited his artistic abilities making his career as a Dental Technician an ideal fit. He began pouring up models and now works side-by-side building porcelain with Tom.
Drew is a perfectionist with an eye for detail like no other, which is exhibited in his work.
Outside of the lab, Drew joins Tom on the green and enjoys traveling.
